Terna Plus’ expertise allows it to grasp the business opportunities deriving from technological innovation: on the one hand, developing systems and solutions for energy efficiency and on the other, introducing – being the first in the world – widespread storage systems that allow safely managing renewable energy plants and systems. Both initiatives aim at CO2 reduction by creating a smarter and more sustainable system.
The Terna Group has a long tradition in building grid infrastructures based on expertise and know how.
One of Terna Plus’ business lines leverages on this background and aims at developing grid projects and infrastructures both as own investments and for third parties in Italy and abroad, within the energy field or in other sectors.
Terna Plus develops international activities in countries characterized by a strong development trend and by a high energy and infrastructure demand. Within the Mediterranean Basin, Terna Plus drives Italy’s transformation into an electricity “hub” towards Europe, by developing energy access channels to import renewable energy from the Balkans and North Africa. Terna Crna Gora is our operational company in Montenegro, which is strategic for the interconnection and growth in the Balkans.
